Brent W. Anderson, PE, PG is the Vice President and Branch Manager for NorthStar’s Florida Operations. Brent has 31 years of experience in the management and implementation of water resource and environmental engineering projects and has worked with all five of Florida’s Water Management Districts, the FDEP, and numerous other State agencies and municipalities.  

Brent has held profit and loss responsibility for projects and programs ranging from $1 million to $12 million and has practical assessment, design, and construction experience relative to a variety of water resource and environmental issues.  He has operational experience in the development, technical participation, and program management of more than 75 study/design projects and has had management responsibility for the implementation of more than 35 diverse assessment/construction/remediation projects.  He has a strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations as they pertain to environmental actions.  Brent’s areas of technical expertise include water resources, site investigations and remediation, hydrogeology, geology, and environmental auditing.  His work experience includes developing work plans, project scoping and scheduling, implementing site investigations and remedial actions, report preparation and review, and conducting environmental audits.  

Brent has conducted environmental audits to ascertain the level of regulatory compliance and assist facilities in developing an environmental management system.  He has also provided expert witness capabilities to the Florida Board of Professional Engineers and other legal entities.  

Brent holds a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering, and is a licensed Engineer and Geologist.
